In this course we will help you:

  • Sustain Realistic Optimism: Get into the right mindset by facing the harsh realities of the situation while at the same time sustaining hope and determination.
  • Sustain Yourself: Keep your own "oxygen mask" on by addressing your own stresses and concerns, and then assist others.
  • Support Others: Encourage others to address their fears and concerns and keep moving forward, without over-promising or "rescuing" them.
  • Communicate Effectively: That is, communicate frequently, consistently and transparently about what you know, don't know, and can't know, in the midst of a challenging situation.
